Ode to music of Fleetwood Mac brings good vibes to Asara

Guido Helm, Greg Schoeman, Skye Wilson, Matt Catto and Sarah McArthur will take the audience on a trip down memory lane with their popular Rumours of Fleetwood Mac tribute show at Asara on 4 July.

The popular Rumours of Fleetwood Mac tribute show will return to Asara Wine Estate & Hotel in Stellenbosch by popular demand on Saturday 4 July.

After six years of sold-out shows in the Western Cape and beyond, audiences of the show have branded it an “epic experience”, with one fan also noting it was the seventh time they had seen the band live on the stage.

The tribute show centres on the popular ’70s and ’80s pop group’s most successful albums, Rumours (1977), which spent 31 weeks at the top of the Billboard charts.

It remains a candid songwriting triumph that cemented Fleetwood Mac’s status as one of the greatest bands of all time.

Gets audience going

Featuring a full band made up of some of Cape Town’s top musicians, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac takes the audience into an audio landscape filled with “classic time capsules of memory” with tracks such as “Go your own way”, “Don’t Stop”, “Dreams”, “Everywhere”, “Second-hand news” and more.

The band comprises Guido Helm on bass and vocals, Greg Schoeman on guitar and vocals, Skye Wilson on acoustic guitar and vocals, Matt Catto on drums and vocals and Sarah McArthur on keyboard and vocals.

The tracks covered are guaranteed to have the audience smiling, toe tapping, swaying and singing along to, for many, top iconic musical gems of their generation.

Show tickets do not include dinner, which can be ordered from an a la carte menu. There will also be a full bar service available. The show starts at 20:00, and dinner will be served from 18:00.

Book your tickets for the show online through Quicket, at R430 each.
