The students from Stellenbosch suffered a 45-56 loss against the team from Bloemfontein, but were able to secure a 68-42 victory over Wits in a physical third-round encounter the previous day (Sunday 8 September). The dynamic Bezuidenhout was her team’s star performer in the outing against Wits, winning the player of the match award.
