Take a trip down memory lane, rock and jive to the 1950s when Gloria Botha School hosts its annual fundraising dance at Strand Town Hall on Saturday 1 June.
The event will be themed “Rocking ’50s” and attendees are encouraged to dress according to the theme to fit in with the drive-in, dine, jive and roadhouse café decor.
The cost is R200 per person and includes entertainment by a DJ and two-course meal of spitbraai and dessert. The food will be sponsored by AM/TSU Security. A cash bar will be available. For more information or to buy tickets, phone the school on 021 851 2156.
