Strand Surf Lifesaving Club celebrated its nippers and lifeguards at an awards ceremony held at Triggerfish Brewery in Paardevlei on Saturday (20 May). Recipients of awards were recognised for their unwavering commitment in consistently achieving outstanding results at competitions, their progression in various disciplines and individual performances. Awards were also given to the most improved boy and girl, most courageous and most promising, and junior and senior victor and victrix ludorum, as well as a chairpersonâs award. Coaches, volunteers and supporters were also recognised for the part they play in ensuring success at the club.
