Mediclinic Vergelegen turned its Block 1 parking area into a pop-up salon on Friday 2 October, and all it took was a little courage, and maybe a little less hair, to show support for Breast Cancer Month. From 09:00 to 14:00, the hospital hosted a spray- and shave-a-thon where supporters sprayed their hair in bold colours, braved the buzz or donated a ponytail for a worthy cause. All proceeds went to the Cancer Association of South Africa.
