The first team of All Saints RFC kept marching on in their pursuit for a top-three finish in the Western Province’s Super League B, with a 38-10 victory over Primrose RFC at Helderzicht Sports Ground on Saturday (25 June).
The win perfectly places the Somerset West team in third place (33 points) on the log after nine league matches, behind log leaders Helderberg RFC (39) and Hands & Heart RFC (37).
Saints have won six encounters, losing two and playing to one stalemate.
This past weekend the lightning-fast Saints’ winger Duwayne Raubenheimer continued his scintillating form and scored two tries to inspire his team to victory. Replacement back Keaton Gordon also chipped in with a try along with fly-half Rizaa Collins and stalwart inside centre Cheslyn Jack.
Collins added a conversion to his team’s tally, while Jack was successful with one conversion and two penalties to propel the home side to another five-point victory.
All Saints will enjoy a bye this coming weekend and will return to action when they travel to Kraaifontein to face Scottsdene-Central RFC at Central Park.
