A 35-year-old man was arrested for drugs after Strand police swooped on the suspect’s car on Thursday 11 May. The vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, was pulled over on Daisy Road in Broadlands Park around 10:00. Police officers proceeded to search the vehicle and found four bags of tik, two bags of dagga, 60 mandrax tablets, a scale and a large amount of cash. The suspect was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs and is expected to appear in the Strand Magistrates’ Court. Photo:
