Motorcyclist hit on Gordon’s Bay Drive

A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in a collision with a vehicle along Gordon’s Bay Drive around 12:00 on Saturday 16 May.

It was reported that a vehicle abruptly halted to make a sudden turn, causing a bakkie to crash into its rear, followed by a white sedan that could not stop in time.

In the immediate aftermath, the driver of one of the vehicles attempted a U-turn to pull over and inadvertently cut directly into the path of an oncoming motorcycle.

No other injuries were reported.
