Young gospel artist Musa Ndlela from Strand is expected to shoot a live recording music video on Saturday 31 October at Christ Church in Zola. The 29-year-old is thrilled about the upcoming project, stating that his aim is to demonstrate the power of God.

“I started recording a single called Jesu Nguye Njalo in 2024. The people loved it and that gave me the courage to go back to the studio to compose more songs. Now I’m going to do the Asideli Asikhathali live recording and I am planning to release it soon.”

Praising the power of God

Some of the songs he is going to record are “Jesu Ithemba Lam”, “Dumisani uYehova Mhlaba” and “Asideli Asikhathali Ukudumisa uYehova”. Ndlela stressed that he sings worship gospel.

“These are songs that I composed by myself. In these songs I’m just praising the power of God and the things that He has done for me.”

A lifetime of worship

He said he started singing at a young age in primary school and in a church choir. Ndledla once sang in a group called Indumiso Yetende Season 5 in Johannesburg, Gauteng, in 2017.

“Most of the time I am invited to worship in churches. I even won a Best Worship Award at the Ukhona Ukamva Music Awards in 2024 in Khayelitsha.”

He said tickets are R200 and doors open at 14:00 until late.
