The investigation began on Thursday, 23 October, when a 51-year-old man visited Thabure SAPS station in Central Park to certify a driving licence. Upon inspecting the document, a vigilant SAPS member suspected it to be fraudulent. The Traffic Department and Law Enforcement were immediately contacted and subsequently verified that the driving licence was indeed fraudulent.
