Westville Girls’ High Learner to Represent South Africa on Global Stage.
Westville Girls’ High School is bursting with pride as Grade 12 learner, Delesha Rickilall, has achieved the extraordinary honour of representing South Africa at the prestigious Int Biology Olympiad in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Delesha secured her place on the national team after placing 1st in the country in the second round of the Life Sciences Olympiad – a testament to her years of dedication, academic excellence, and a lifelong passion for Biology. Now, she will compete against the brightest young minds from more than 80 countries worldwide at the Int Biology Olympiad.
Her journey is deeply inspiring. Raised by her single father and motivated by the memory of her late mother, Delesha has embraced every challenge with resilience and determination. Her story reflects not only personal triumph but also the spirit of perseverance that defines South Africa’s youth.
