World-renowned flautist and guitarist in Worcester

Worcester, once again, has the privilege of hosting key figures of international classical music. On Wednesday 26 February, at 19:30, German flautist and guitarist, respectively, Andrea Beck and Helmut Schubach will perform at the Porter Street Auditorium of Innovation for the Blind under the auspices of the Worcester Music Society. The programme will feature works by Cimarosa, Schubert, Händel, Sanz and Bartók. Beck, former principal flautist of the Baden-Baden Philharmonic, has extensive international experience and specialises in Mozart and Bach concertos. Schubach, an accomplished guitarist and music educator, worked for many years at the German Music Council and now focuses on chamber music. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
