A two-day social media workshop aimed at Worcester’s youth was conducted by Spottmedia, in partnership with IkasiMedia, on 14 and 15 April. It formed part of a three-month skills programme run by IkasiMedia. “We were excited about this initiative, for it gave us an opportunity to inspire and educate the youth on how to use social media effectively,” said Spottmedia founder Rucien Petersen. The workshop focused on interesting ways to create content, the benefits of using social media, mistakes to avoid and how to use social media to market a business.
