Worcester Gymnasium is proud of its boys’ first hockey team. They were invited to participate in the prestigious Cape Town International Hockey Festival, which took place from 9 to 14 July at Hartleyvale Stadium in Observatory, Cape Town. A total of 48 teams participated. The teams were made up of both local and international talent from the UK, Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa. The tournament is played in accordance with Federation of International Hockey (FIH) standards, placing this event as the leading u-18 schools hockey festival globally.
