Women evicted from farms protest outside BVM

The Women on Farms movement marched to the Breede Valley Municipality (BVM) on 2 May to protest alleged illegal evictions from farms. According to Matheko Mbubu, who lives in Rawsonville, the group had come to request that the municipality provide them with housing. “The municipality should provide accommodation for the evicted, and they cannot tell us there is nothing they can do about it.
