Two learners from Visusizwe Secondary School represented the school at the Western Cape High Schools’ Athletics Championships in Paarl. Loyiso Skiti (left) participated in the 5 000 m for boys u-19 and finished in fifth position. He also took part in the 3 000 m steeplechase event and received a bronze medal. He represented the Western Province at the South African Championships in Port Elizabeth on 22 and 23 March. Tiang Makhetha (right) took part in the 3 000 m boys u-17 and finished in fifth place with a personal best time of 09:10. With the learners is their proud principal, Reggie Ceasar.
