A spirited group of junior athletes from the Worcester Underwater Hockey Club showcased their skills at the prestigious Annual Junior Nationals Underwater Hockey Tournament, held in Somerset West from March 21 to 23. Representing the Boland Teams, these young players competed across various age groups. The Boland contingent demonstrated remarkable prowess throughout the tournament, achieving commendable results: u-19 Girls: Secured the Silver medal. u-19 Boys: Finished in a respectable fourth place. u-16 Girls: Triumphed with a Gold medal. u-16 Boys: Earned a well-deserved Fourth place. u-13 Mixed: Showed their mettle, clinching the Silver medal. Their dedication and sportsmanship exemplify the Worcester Underwater Hockey Club’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a love for the sport.
