The bravery of a 2-year-old girl should be lauded after she reported a horrendous act of sexual violence committed against her by her father.
The little girl was left in his care by her mother with the instruction that she be taken to her nanny.

The man appeared at the Worcester Magistrates’ Court on 8 July on a charge of rape, but the matter was remanded to today (14 July) for the accused’s legal aid application result and bail information.
The state opposed bail and the accused remained in custody. This is the second such incident Standard has reported in consecutive weeks.
