Caitlin Adams, a learner at Worcester Primary School, was recently crowned Junior Miss Teen Western Province and is now continuing her philanthropic activities within the community. She was also nominated for The Annual AfrICAN Children of the Year Awards in two categories, Philanthropy and Community Development/Engagement, recognising the work she does and the change she is trying to make. Among all the nominees, who were from countries all over Africa, Caitlin won in the Philanthropy category. Anyone who is looking to donate non-perishable foods must know Caitlin is currently collecting for the school’s Tin Food Drive, and they can contact her mother, Melanie Adams, at 073 226 4077.
