Robertson VEP volunteers honoured for unstinting service

Members of the Victim Empowerment Programme (VEP) at the Robertson Police Station were awarded certificates last week. They also received medals for their loyal service during 2023. The appreciation ceremony was organised by Sgt Rudolf Valentyn and Myrtel Benjamin of the Cape Winelands District Municipality. The event also signified the closing of 16 Days of Activism of No Violence against Women and Children, and honoured and showed appreciation to the volunteers who put their own free time and family aside to assist the community in times of need.Foto:
