Wolseley Police have made one arrest in their bid to solve five murders that had occurred in the town.
The spree, which occurred in two separate incidents over two days, 27 and 28 July, in the Pine Valley informal settlement, claimed the lives of men aged 24 to 34.
According to Wolseley Police Station Commander Captain Donald Farao five murder dockets have been opened.
Two other suspects are still at large.
It is not yet clear what the motive was for the killings nor whether the incidents are related.
