Worcester resident Joslyn du Toit (35) has made it through to the Mrs South Africa semi-finals. The contestants will take part in charity events, upskilling sessions and photo shoots, and the grand finale will take place in November. Du Toit, a human resources intern in the Breede River Management Area, is studying towards a diploma in human resources. “I grew up in a small town where dreams often felt stifled. After being diagnosed with type-2 diabetes and polycystic ovary syndrome, a hormonal condition that affects women of reproductive age, I faced a turning point that pushed me to pursue my passion for modelling and create a platform to encourage my fellow sisters to embrace their struggles.”
