The murder case against the alleged killers of former Shoprite manager Beatrice Manuel will resume in the High Court towards the end of May.

Manuel was fatally wounded in the supermarket in Zwelethemba on the morning of 2 June 2019, just after opening the store for employees who were to report for duty that day.

An employee of Shoprite delivered compelling evidence in the High Court, which sat in Worcester, and pointed Manuel’s killer out in court.

Advocate Ntsoaki Mabilietse, the state prosecutor, said the court will resume its proceedings towards the end of May and listen to further testimony and argument.
