Barbel fishing competition at Kwaggaskloof

The Brandvlei Angling Club is hosting a day-and-night barbel fishing competition on 4 March until 5 March at the Brandvlei Kwaggaskloof Dam.

There are 120 tickets available with anglers under 14 years old paying R75 a ticket, and anglers over 15 years old R150.

Prizes include R1 500 for first place in the u-14 category, second prize R1 000 and R500 for third place.

For the 15 and above category, anglers can pocket R2 000 for first place, R1 500 for second and R1 000 for third place.
