A 16-week old baby was found covered in blood in Lubisi, De Doorns, on Tuesday morning.
Unlike the baby found alive in a wheelie-bin in Worcester two weeks ago, this one did not make it.
The man who made the gruesome discovery, Abraham Louw (42), says he had been cleaning their yard and he had gone to the dumping site to throw away the rubbish just after 08:00 on Tuesday (15 March).
“The baby was covered in blood and a bucket covered her head partially,” he said.
Louw then rushed home to alert his family and the rest of the community about what he had just seen.
According to a spokesperson for De Doorns police, the baby was approximately 16 weeks old and was a girl.
“The body of the baby girl was found dumped at Lubisi at a dumping site and no arrest made as the suspect is unknown at this stage.”
