On Saturday 15 October the Cape Winelands Education District hosted a provincial spelling bee competition for isiXhosa learners in Stellenbosch. Two learners from the Alfred Stamper Primary School in Zwelethemba took top honours at this event and won prizes, including cellphones, R1 000 cash, a dictionary, medal, trophy, speaker and goody bag.
