Big day beckons

Langebaan Strandlopers at this year's Comrades Marathon. — A total of 16 men and women will proudly represent Langebaan Strandlopers at this year’s Comrades Marathon on Saturday 20 June. For months they have shown unwavering dedication, discipline and determination. Countless early mornings, long training runs, sacrifices and hours of preparation have all led to this moment. While many were still asleep these athletes were already out on the roads, putting the hard work in required to chase their dreams. The club expressed enormous pride in everyone. “Your commitment, perseverance and passion inspire us all,” it said. “As you take on the Ultimate Human Race, know that the entire Langebaan Strandlopers family stands firmly behind you every step of the way. We will be cheering, supporting and rooting for you.”
