Longacres Privaatskool het sy deure in Januarie 2013 met 18 gr. 1-leerders geopen. Uit daardie 18 leerders gaan drie hierdie jaar matriekeksamen skryf. Op Dinsdag 14 Mei het hulle ’n boom geplant wat geskenk is deur Christo en Estelle du Plessis om hul 12 jaar by Longacres Privaatskool te vier. Bo staan Christo du Plessis, Chloe Groenewald, Mia Liebenberg, Fatima Lee en Estelle du Plessis.
