Local cyclists, led by Stephen Kriel and Wydeman van der Merwe, completed the Cape Town Cycle Tour Challenge for the fourth time on Sunday 10 March. Their mission: to support Annika and Chene Venter, battling Friedreich Ataxia. Despite being wheelchair-bound for six years, Annika and Chene were towed along the route on specially designed buggies by a team of 25 cyclists. The event aimed to raise awareness for Friedreich Ataxia while creating cherished memories for the girls. Their mother, Retha Venter, said this inspiring display of unity and compassion proves that, together, one can make a difference.Foto:
