Tsotello Nenzinane with his latest book Wilona’s Last Chance.

Releasing yet another book this year, Tsotello Nenzinane from Saldanha is a young writer rising to fame. At just the age of 18, Tsotello has written and released five books. His latest book, titled Wilona’s Last Chance, was published on Thursday 18 September, a book he is very proud of.

“This new book is classified as a literary vignette. It is a haunting psychological teenage drama that follows the story of a young woman named Wilona who suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder, and has to battle with her split personalities inside her head. Her alter egos are Willow and Willa. Willa is the sly, cunning personality who can mani-

pulate any and everybody with her tongue and her words and Willow is the violent, chaotic personality that only likes violence and finds pleasure in hurting others. This book was inspired by my own experiences with different people and my own subconscious bodies of thought. I really wanted to see how far I could push my literary abilities with this novel.”

Tsotello said one of the highlights of the writing process was the fact that he could connect with every single character. “Nobody was placed in this book without a reason for being there and connection makes the writing process much easier and more enjoyable. The promotional images for the characters really helped me envision the characters that were in action and having 30 chapters gave me all the space to explore all the themes I wanted to.” Tsotello added that the writing process took him a while due to lack of time management and the pressure of school responsibilities, but at the end he sees it as all worthwhile.

The book can be found on multiple online stores like Amazon, Takealot, Kobo and more. Should you wish to get the book contact Tsotello on 082 719 1326.
