Curro learners represent province at biathlé champs

Rebecca (14) and Francesca (11) Flack, both of whom attend Curro Langebaan, recently represented the Western Cape at the SA National Biathlé Championships in Somerset West. Rebecca achieved fifth place in her age group and has subsequently been selected to represent South Africa at the Biathlé World Championships due to take place in Portugal later in the year. Biathlé is a continuous run-swim-run event of varying distances based on age. Rebecca had to run 1 200 m, swim 200 m and run 1 200 m, and make the qualifying times for selection.
