Majestic in all her glory, the pelagic fishing vessel built at the Sachal Shipyard in Vredenburg has caught the eyes of many passersby.
Named Creativity, the vessel was designed and built fully inhouse by Sachal Shipyard.
According to Sachal, the project started in March 2025 and will be sailing along the shores of the West Coast very soon.
“She will be carrying 12 crew members and would be used for catching anchovy and sardines, as she has a big refrigeration plant onboard.
“She is designed to carry 350 tons of anchovy.
“She is most probably the most advanced boat in the fleet now with her electronics, refrigeration plant and the specific machinery she uses”
