A beach clean-up in Saldanha took place on World Plumbing Day. A total of 100 bags were filled.

As part of World Plumbing Day on Tuesday 11 March, plumbers on the West Coast decided to embark on a beach clean-up in Saldanha. Other entities also joined in on the day making it a huge success. The initiative was organised by the Institute of Plumbing South Africa (IOPSA). Participants were Richard Ballie from IOPSA, WFH Plumbing, Kilian Plumbers, Bierrman Plumbers,JR Plumbing, H2O Flow Plumbing, SA Cargo Saldanha Bay Municipality (SBM) and Sheena Truter. A total of 100 bags were filled and removed by SBM.
