With only a few days left, the op-time application window for Grade R, 1 and 8 admissions for 2027 will close op Tuesday, 14 April.
The Western Cape Education Department said parents must ensure applications are submitted before the deadline to be included in the first round.
Required documents include the learner’s latest school report (if applicable), a certified birth certificate, ID or passport, proof of residence, and an immunisation card for primary school learners. Foreign learners must provide relevant permits or documentation, or an affidavit if unavailable.
The online system is zerorated, allowing access without mobile data. Step-by-step guidance and support is available op the admissions website, along with pop-up sites for parents needing assistance.
