The West Coast TVET College Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator will host the Allan Gray Makers Entrepreneurship Inter-Campus Competition on Friday 18 August at the Vredenburg campus.
This is a South African initiative funded by Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropy, partnered with Future Managers with support from the Department of Higher Education and Training and South African Public Colleges Organisation
The aim is to provide transferable entrepreneurial skills and support to youth who are pursuing or trained in a technical or vocational trade, encouraging the youth to choose entrepreneurship as a career option.
This is a national competition among all public TVET colleges comprising three levels;. College (Inter-Campus),. Regional . National
Finalists from eight TVET colleges will pitch their business concepts to a panel of judges made up of experts in the business development support ecosystem and entrepreneurs whereafter winners per each category will be announced and proceed to the national competition round that will be hosted later this year.
