West Coast Cue Sport hosted its Annual General Meeting and League Prize Giving on Saturday 31 January at the Sicasa Sports Lounge and Bar in Langebaan.

The event marked the election of the newly appointed executive committee as well as the celebration of a successful and highly competitive 2025 season.

A total of 20 teams participated in the 2025 8-ball league, which was contested across two divisions.

In the A Division, Sicasa Hoppers were crowned league winners, with Sicasa Avengers finishing as runners-up. The B Division saw Safi Assassins claim the league title, while Safi Titans secured the runners-up position. All teams were acknowledged for their commitment and sportsmanship throughout the season.

Over the past two years, West Coast Cue Sport (WCCS) has grown to 116 registered players under its auspices.

The organisation continues to focus on development, including junior development initiatives, while also expanding competitive opportunities.

A team from WCCS represented the region at the South African Blackball Federation Men’s National Championship held in Nelspruit.

Strengthening development structures remains a priority to support further growth and long-term sustainability of cue sport in the West Coast region.
