Applications are now open for trading bays for vendors to be part of My Cape Town Market Atlantis set to take place on 2-3 December on the corner of Swift and Starling Road, Robinvale (next to Robinvale Sports Ground).
“We are extremely eager to bring the second instalment of the My Cape Town Market to Atlantis and to connect local vendors with customers,” said Alderman James Vos, Mayco Member for Economic Growth.
“This market is a great place for you to showcase your skills whether you are a baker, an arts-and-crafts guru or an up-and-coming craftsman.”
The event will also feature fun activities, such as buskers, emerging artists and a children’s play zone.
“In recent years neighbourhood markets have become enormously popular as people seek out artisanal treasures that give the flavour of Cape Town,” the Mayco member said.
“Markets have also contributed enormously to place making and cultural exchange in communities, and as Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth I am therefore pleased to support these platforms.
“These allow aspiring business owners and creators to re-establish connections with past clients, forge new ones and expand economic prospects.”
Applications for trading at the market are now open with each trading bay costing R107,20 per bay/per day for the duration of the event.
