Despite slowly increasing blood-stock levels still remain lower than the five-days’ cover required. Blood stocks are still below stable levels. The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) appeals to people eligible to donate blood to find their nearest donation centre by visiting www.sanbs.org.za, or calling 0800 11 90 31, or go to @theSANBS on social media platforms.
