Man (21) nabbed for firearm, ammunition possession

Members attached to Atlantis Police Crime Prevention Unit and Law Enforcement followed-up on information received on Sunday 11 June, at 23:19, about a concealed firearm at a house in Paragon Street, Atlantis. On arrival at the address the house was searched and a Black Arma 2 revolver and ammunition were found. A 21-year-old man was arrested for possession of a prohibited firearm and ammunition, and another male and female were arrested for possession of ammunition. The Branch Commander, Lt Col Theresa Reeves, welcomed the arrests and lauded the community for sharing information on illegal activity.
