The Hawks’ Narcotics Enforcement Bureau (SANEB) together with Crime Intelligence (CI) and Metro Police uncovered an illicit drug facility worth one million Rand at Three Fountains Estate outside Atlantis on Tuesday 29 October.
Lieutenant Colonel Philani Nkwalase of the Hawks said a multidisciplinary team responded swiftly to information and conducted an intelligence driven operation to dismantle the drug facility.
A suspect (47) was arrested following a search and seizure that uncovered a hydroponic dagga lab and massive production of magic mushrooms, all with the combined value of R 1 million.
