While doing patrols in Gazonia Street on Thursday 21 October at 19:30, members attached to the police Crime Prevention Unit performed stop-and-search. When the patrol vehicle approached a 27-year-old male known for robberies he turned in another direction away from the police. He was searched and an imitation firearm was found in his possession.
