Atlantis talent debuts in the DStv Premier League

Roy-Keane Avontuur (17) from Atlantis became the youngest-ever Stellenbosch Football Club (SFC) player to make his debut in the DStv Premier Soccer League on Sunday. The club announced on 26 October it had signed the “precocious talent” in a first team contract on a long-term basis. SFC played Moroka Swallows at the Danie Craven Stadium in a 1-all draw. Avontuur was also the first-ever overall winner of Weskus Nuus/SuperSport Let’s Play initiative in 2016. Photo: Joline van der Merwe
