On Sunday 8 January 2023 at 00:15 Yuwin Manuel (20) was shot multiple times in Hobby Lane, Robinvale. He was rushed to Groote Schuur Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Police urge anyone with information to assist the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Rodrick Maasdorp, with information on 082 469 7017.. On 14 April 2022 at 22:00 the victim was sitting with friends at a house in Phlox Street, Protea Park when three unknown males shot at a victim and his friend, one victim was shot in the leg and one male, 20-years-old, died of a gunshot wound.. On 13 February 2022 at 07:20 at Eagles Nest, Dura Park, a victim was coming from his house and standing on the stairs when two unknown males came and shot at the victim, who passed on of gunshot wound sustained.. On 12 February 2022 at 21:20 a victim was sitting in the road in Bloukrans Lane, when two males jumped out of a silver vehicle and approached him. The victim was shot multiple times.. On 20 February 2022 at 00:10 two males were standing in the yard at Palmer Lane, Avondale when two unknown males approached the victims and shot them. Both victims succumbed to the injuries they sustained. Police urge anyone with information to assist the investigating officer Detective Sergeant Allo Hendricks.. On 12 August 2023 at 04:15 at Palmer Avenue (in front of Parkview Primary school), Avondale a gunshot victim, Richard “Lastag” Walters (33), was found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds.
