Witsand undergoing a major clean-up

Subcouncil 1 with the cooperation of different line departments, including Solid waste, Illegal dumping, specialised equipment and Witsand community leaders started with a clean-up campaign in Witsand. This will be a three-week process, where all dirt in the area, blocked drains, sandy streets and more will be the focus. Wessie van der Westhuizen Subcouncil Manager said the EPWP projects must be effective in addressing the real challenges, especially where they are needed most.
