The Atlantis City Mall transformed into a vibrant hub of opportunity as the Cape Career Exhibition Association (CCEA) hosted a dynamic career expo on 3 September 2024.

For a few inspiring hours, community members connected with exhibitors representing higher education, private, and public TVET institutions. From hospitality and beauty to artisanal trades and law enforcement, the expo showcased a wide range of career pathways.

“It was particularly heart warming to share this moment with our senior citizens, reaffirming the strength and vibrancy of our communities,” Selwyn Willoughby, IES Executive at Atlantis Special Economic Zone said.

Willoughby added, “The CCEA career expo, hosted in partnership with the Atlantis Special Economic Zone, is an incredible opportunity for students and job seekers in the community to explore diverse career paths and connect with leading industries. This event not only provides valuable resources and guidance but also highlights the importance of local economic development and skills growth,”.

“By working together, we are empowering the next generation to build meaningful careers and contribute to the future of sustainable economic progress,” he concluded.

The CCEA extends a heartfelt thank you to the Atlantis City Mall for accommodating them and to all the exhibitors who made this event possible.
