International cricket takes centre stage this weekend as the final day of the third and deciding Test between Australia and South Africa unfolds on Saturday at Newlands. The Baggy Greens are in a commanding position to claim the series after the Proteas levelled things with an emphatic win in the second Test. In typical fashion, cheeky Cape Town fans have been offering Australian fielders sandpaper, a tongue-in-cheek reference to the infamous Sandpapergate scandal.

The United Rugby Championship fires up on Friday night when the Lions travel to Glasgow to take on the Warriors. Saturday brings a triple-header: the Sharks travel to Ireland to face Munster, the Stormers welcome Ulster to Cape Town, and the Bulls do battle with the Scarlets at Loftus Versfeld.

The Springbok Women will be looking for redemption when they take on Ireland again at Athlone Stadium on Saturday.

And in Formula One, all eyes turn to Mexico City. Saturday’s qualifying will determine the grid, but Sunday’s Grand Prix is where history could be made. Kimi Antonelli needs just a ninth-place finish to become the youngest F1 world champion in history at just 20 years old. Can he handle the pressure?

It’s a massive weekend of sport across the board. Enjoy the action!
