The Bronville police commemorated World AIDS Day on 3 December with an educational programme that emphasised prevention, treatment and stigma reduction.
The message was that the purpose of World Aids Day was not to celebrate, but to remember loved ones who have died due to HIV and AIDS.
The event aimed to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS whilst expressing solidarity with affected communities and supporting people living with the virus.
Officers were encouraged to live responsibly and to support loved ones who are affected and infected by HIV/AIDS.
The programme highlighted the president’s message that HIV/AIDS remains a pandemic with global impact, emphasising the importance of continued awareness and responsible lifestyle choices.
The event ended successfully with a powerful prayer.
