A Gr. 12 learner of Welkom-Gimnasium, Miguel Sardinha, obtained a first place in the Free State in the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (Saica) Olympiad. He received a bursary to study at the University of the Free State (UFS), as well as a laptop, from Saica.
