Every week, Vistawould like to highlight the decay of areas in the Matjhabeng Local Municipality.

When the municipality fixes a problem, this too will be mentioned.

A water problem that affected large portions of St Helena, Naudeville and Bedelia since 21 March, and which caused anger and concern, was solved on Tuesday (28/03). Municipal officials worked tirelessly, with the offending valve discovered and the dilemma resolved.

This week, pertinent areas where decay and filth are obvious can be found in Odendaalsrus (the Alma Road crossing from Phakisa Mine), Riebeeckstad (Erfdeel-Mohlala Road) and Harmony (Virginia).
