Lesedi Khatoane (7), a Gr. 2 learner at the Riebeckstad Primary School in Welkom, has won the 2026 titles of Miss Petite South Africa, Miss Petite Universe South Africa, Little Miss Universe, and Mini Top Model of the World.
Lesedi competed in Miss Junior South Africa beauty pageant at the Heartfelt Arena in Pretoria from 1 to 4 July, representing the Free State and Welkom.
She was also awarded a certificate for best ramp model. Lesedi won the Little Miss Universe and Mini Top Model of the World titles in Turkey on 17 May, representing South Africa.
This petite beauty queen has won 37 titles during her modelling career, which spans over more than three years.
“The highlight of my career was being crowned Little Miss Universe and Mini Top Model of the World 2026 in Turkey on the 17 May. I represented South Africa with pride and bringing home an international Crown at my tiny age was exhilirating,” says Lesedi.
She says she is dedicated to establishing a charity to support less fortunate children.
